The bilingual Montessori school offers an educational approach inspired by Maria Montessori, combining independence with a deeply nurturing ethos.
Each child grows within a framework that respects their pace and unique personality, taking into account their overall intellectual, emotional, and physical development.
The educational approach places strong emphasis on individualised teaching, enabling each child to progress at their own rhythm.
In a carefully prepared environment, guided by attentive educators trained and certified by AMI (Association Montessori Internationale), children thrive every day, explore, use Montessori tools, and learn through direct experience.
A recognised educational framework
As an independent private school, Vichy Montessori School adopts a rigorous approach to quality, transparency, and educational responsibility.
The recent official visit from the French Department for National Education confirmed the consistent implementation of Montessori method, the thoughtful organisation of classroom environments, and the quality of support provided to the children.
Our commitments
At Vichy Montessori, the team is committed to offering every child a respectful, stimulating, and caring environment, where they can flourish, develop independence, and nurture their natural curiosity, all while respecting each child’s individual rhythm and needs.
The school is run by a committed group of parents, structured as a nonprofit.. Each family takes an active part in the life and development of the school, in a spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and kindness, in keeping with Montessori values.
In practical terms, this means:
Contributing to school life (meetings, workshops, events, support for the teaching teams).
Offering time and skills (gardening, DIY, communication, cooking, and more).
Taking part in projects, helping maintain the premises, and assisting the teachers.
Working together to offer children a nurturing and respectful environment where everyone progresses at their own pace.
Our nonprofit also ensures that the school is part of a rigorous and sustainable educational framework. The late 2025 visit from the Ministry of Education recognized the collective work carried out by the teaching staff and the families involved in the project
Thank you to all the members, volunteers, and supporters who make this wonderful adventure possible.
