Elementary Class

The Montessori Elementary Class welcomes children aged 6 to 12 and is based on Cosmic Education, the curriculum designed by Maria Montessori.

It offers a holistic study of the universe, exploring its laws, patterns, and the connections between disciplines.

Exposed to the richness and complexity of creation, children develop their reasoning, nurture their imagination, and continue their natural process of intellectual and social growth.

Montessori pedagogy meets these needs through a structured, stimulating framework that respects each child’s individual pace.

Group work & social life:

Group work enables children to discuss, debate, and collaborate within a structured setting that fosters respect, active listening, and appreciation for each individual.

Independent activities:

Once presented by the educator, materials can be freely chosen and used by the child for as long as and as often as needed.

Freedom and responsibility:

In an atmosphere of trust, children organise their work, make choices, self-assess, and gradually develop a sense of responsibility.

Educational guidance:

Trained in Positive Discipline, the educator supports learning and nurtures social and emotional skills development in both French and English.
